I have been working as a physiotherapist for 7 years and have recently moved from Adelaide to Perth in pursuit of my Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Curtin University.

I enjoy working closely together with my clients to explore their problem, discover their goals and to help achieve their goals through various treatment and management strategies. I am a very hands-on physiotherapist and I understand that manual therapy is a great tool to help people with their pain and function.

I also strongly work towards empowering my clients and encouraging independence through self-management techniques, consistent exercise and ensuring my patients have a deep understanding of their pain or condition.

One of my special interests includes treating chronic lower back pain. Over the years I have seen how debilitating and painful it can be to someone’s life and how it can stop us in our tracks. I have found that a holistic approach in which we apply hands on treatment, encourage movement and address contributing factors (such as stress, lack of sleep or poor diet) provides the best results. It is very rewarding and exciting to me once I can see someone finally pick up their grandkids or lift their groceries into their car!

In my spare time I really enjoy being outside the house and going for runs along the river, being in the gym or going for a stroll along the beach.

My areas of special clinical Interest include:

Chronic lower back pain Shoulder pain/rotator cuff related pain Cervicogenic pain and headaches Jaw pain and stiffness (TMJ) Dry Needling Sporting injuries Vestibular issues (BPPV) Post-operative rehabilitation for knees/hips/shoulders Creating strength and conditioning and running programs

My journey into physiotherapy was inspired by my passion for exercise, sport, and movement while I was growing up. I have always loved being active, whether in the gym, team sports, surfing or just going for a hike in the beautiful environment.

I enjoy helping my clients re-engage with physical activity after experiencing pain and empowering them to meet their fitness goals. I have a particular interest in Clinical Pilates and am a firm believer in its benefits for symptom relief and injury prevention. I have personally experienced injuries which have prevented me from running and playing sport, and am very passionate in injury prevention through strength training and Pilates, and have found it game changing in my fitness journey

Since graduating from The University of Notre Dame, I have worked in private practice setting seeing a wide variety of clients. They have ranged from athletic kids with sporting injuries, through the aches and pains from working a sedentary job, to clients with acute injuries. I have also kept a foot in the research world through working on numerous projects and beginning a PhD in 2024 investigating neural drive to the calf muscle complex.

I particularly enjoy getting to know my clients and their individual goals and needs. I look forward to working with you to help you lead a better, healthier and more pain-free life.

Away from the clinic, you’ll often find me outdoors, going surfing or scuba diving, or in the gym.

My areas of special clinical interest include:

  • Low back pain
  • Neck pain
  • Ankle injuries
  • Knee & hip pain
  • Dry needling
  • Clinical Pilates
  • Running and sports related injuries

I became a physiotherapist because I have a passion for helping people be the best version of themselves.

Watching somebody achieve their goal is the best part of my job.

I love being physically active and believe it is an important part of our overall health. Therefore, I am passionate about assisting all my clients, whether they have a sporting injury or pelvic health concern, to return to sport, exercise and movement safely.

I just love physiotherapy and enjoy helping people reach their full potential. I find the human body and the way it works amazing.

I chose to specialise in Women’s, Men’s and Children’s Pelvic Health after hearing an increasing number of stories from friends and family members. So many women were struggling with continence or prolapse issues post childbirth or during menopause. This made me realise how important this area was within physiotherapy and spurred me on to learn more.

I’ve been a physiotherapist for over 10 years and have clinical experience in Continence and Women’s Health and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

I have completed two degrees, a Postgraduate Masters Degree in Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, both at Curtin University.

I like to address all the areas which may be impacting your Continence and Pelvic Health. These areas include your pelvic floor, abdominals, exercise, stressors, diet, bowels and many others.

When I’m not working at Wisdom, I am either lecturing at Curtin or my husband and I are actively trying to find ways to tire out our 2 little boys.

My areas of special clinical interest include:

I possess extensive expertise in treating musculoskeletal conditions, catering to both private and athletic environments. My passion for learning has persisted since university, as evidenced by my accomplishments in courses such as Dry Needling, Strength and Conditioning, and G:LAD Training (Knee and Hip Osteoarthritis management). My next venture involves taking Clinical Pilates sessions in the Nedlands clinic, which I eagerly anticipate.

I have always been a curious individual, seeking to comprehend how things work. This trait has made me an ideal fit for my chosen profession of physiotherapy. Nothing brings me greater satisfaction than empowering individuals with knowledge about their body, along with the necessary tools to achieve their objectives. As a lifelong hockey player who has represented both WA and Australia in the Indoor game, I have an exceptional understanding of how physiotherapy can prevent, manage, and rehabilitate injuries, having sustained my fair share over the years.

When I am not playing hockey or at work, I enjoy unwinding by going to the beach, reading, indulging in Netflix binges (I welcome all recommendations), and spending time with my two feline companions.

My favourite part of being a physiotherapist is being able to help people live a better, healthier, pain-free life. I love working with a variety of patients to help achieve their individual goals.

I found my way to physiotherapy after an active adolescence of playing soccer, cross-country running, dancing and gymnastics landed me with many aches and sprains that sent me to the physio on a regular basis. I learned early the benefits of both manual therapy and exercise-rehabilitation in the recovery process and wanting to return to sport as soon as possible.

I have treated newborn infants right through to the elderly and across the entire journey from day one to full rehabilitation. My experience as physiotherapist in both private practice and acute hospital settings, has allowed me to spend much of my time assisting patients in their recovery from sporting injuries and orthopaedic surgery.

Having worked extensively with some of Perth’s best orthopaedic surgeons, I am extremely well versed in pre and post-operative rehabilitation, and love providing solutions that can improve your pain and function without the need for surgery.

Having worked with WAFL and amateur football clubs, I enjoy empowering both professional athletes and weekend warriors to take an active role in their rehabilitation.

I also have a special interest in the treatment of neck pain and cervicogenic headaches; having personally experienced this I understand how debilitating it can be and how much physiotherapy can improve your symptoms and long-term recovery. Pilates and regular strength training became my norm to manage these symptoms and I hope to help others with similar issues.

I thoroughly enjoy working with women and adolescents with a variety of conditions; and have a special interest in treating hypermobility syndromes that stems from my own history in dancing and gymnastics. I’m a strong believer that you can always do something; there is always an exercise or way you can move that can improve your pain and it’s my role to help you find it!

If I’m not at the clinic, you’ll probably find me at the dance studio training regularly for Latin and Ballroom dancing, down by the river for a run, or cuddling up with my dog Winston.

My areas of special clinical interest include:

  • Neck pain & stiffness
  • Cervicogenic headaches
  • Jaw pain/stiffness (TMJ)
  • Back pain
  • Hypermobility syndromes
  • Dry needling

I have over 15 years experience and an established skill base in Clinical Pilates and Yoga practices.

I started my career in hospital, military and overseas aid physiotherapy, and have since focused my development in movement-based and mind-body approaches in private practice Physiotherapy.

I enjoy working with a broad client base in these areas including rehabilitation, arthritis, osteoporosis, chronic pain, pre/post pregnancy, pelvic floor pain as well as sports people.

I studied lumbo-pelvic dysfunction and Clinical Pilates (BET) in the early 2000’s, then became interested in the principles and benefits of yoga during my 9 years in Hong Kong. I became a qualified yoga instructor there in 2008. Applying yoga knowledge and skills to my existing practice has been a thrill to witness the positive changes in both physical function and quality of life in my clients.

In 2011, advances in research, directed my study to DMA Clinical Pilates in Melbourne. Implementing these techniques, I saw rapid and measurable results. I’ve completed all 4 levels of DMA Clinical Pilates since relocating to Perth in 2012 and it forms the core of my pilates practice.

I enjoy focusing on this approach to Clinical Pilates in a progressive environment with like-minded practitioners at Wisdom Physiotherapy Nedlands.

I also work with the Arthritis and Osteoporosis Foundation (WA), and provide a unique Yoga for Arthritis program; an evidence-based program developed at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore. Currently I’m the only instructor in Australia who teaches this course. In 2016 I started working with Yoga for Pain Care Australia, conducting an arthritis education module for yoga instructors.

I graduated from the University of Sydney with a B.App.Sc. (Physiotherapy) in 1997.

My areas of special clinical interest include:

  • Arthritis & Osteoporosis
  • Chronic Pain
  • Pelvic floor pain
  • Yoga - private sessions
  • Clinical Pilates - private and small groups
  • Balance / falls prevention

I have over 20 years clinical experience in private practice treating musculoskeletal, spinal and sports injuries.

I completed two degrees, a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Curtin University), and a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education (UWA), plus all four levels of DMA Clinical Pilates. I enjoy integrating manual therapy and active rehabilitation in my approach to injury management.

I’ve worked both locally in Perth and overseas, and recently returned from Singapore where I owned a successful physiotherapy and pilates practice for several years. I have worked with various patient populations such as back/neck pain patients (with or without an ergonomic focus) and sports injury patients with a focus on triathletes, cyclists, runners, footballers, golfers and dancers.

There are many facets to my job that I enjoy, but I particularly like the challenge of problem solving and tailoring treatment plans and goals to the client’s specific needs. I believe empowering people with knowledge and solutions makes a difference in people’s lives.

I’m very focused on understanding the biomechanics and cause behind your injury/pain to ensure the correct manual therapy and functional rehabilitation approach is used to optimise recovery and injury prevention.

My areas of special clinical interest include:

  • Spine – back and neck pain
  • Sports related injuries
  • Hip & groin injuries

For more than 15 years I’ve been treating people from all walks of life.

From elite athletes to new mothers to desk-bound workaholics. I’ve seen people searching for help to relieve their aches and pains, and frustrations with their inability to perform to expectations.

I’m passionate about providing a better way to service the community – this is why I started Wisdom Physiotherapy in Nedlands.

Over the years I’ve refined my Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates techniques. I grew up in Nedlands and completed two degrees from Curtin University and the University of Western Australia, I then gained experience working in Kalgoorlie, the Sunshine Coast, Melbourne and Perth.

I enjoy working with a diverse client base to improve function and reduce pain. I like to find out what is causing the pain and then treat it to address both short term and long term outcomes.

I have an open mind when it comes to my clients, everyone is different and requires a unique approach. I have a strong appetite for implementing evidence-based techniques such as the neuromuscular theory of DMA Clinical Pilates with functional rehabilitation and dry needling.

I understand the importance of achievable goals and a streamlined program, so I take my time to design and communicate your optimal journey to wellness.

I treat the body as a whole. I find clients have the most success with treatment when we work together to improve the whole body, which is why I love to use the movement of Clinical Pilates.

I’m particularly interested in improving posture and muscle control to relieve and prevent back pain. My areas of clinical interest include:

  • Shoulder pain
  • Chronic back pain
  • Cervicogenic (tension) headaches
  • Postural issues
